Moving Notes
Moving notes on a scrolling, zooming canvas is tricky. Simple click and drag doesn't quite work, since you might not even be able to see the destination if it's too zoomed out. So here's how it works:
You do the standard hold-and-slide on the note you want to move, sliding to the "move" button, then letting go. A red box will pop up, with "edit" and "put down" buttons. You've now "picked up" the note, so to speak. If you hit the "put down" button now, you'll cancel the prospective move.
With the note picked up, now is the time you can zoom and scroll anywhere in the workspace to find where you want to put the note. Maybe you still don't quite know where you want to put it, but you'll know it when you see it. That's fine. You can also still cancel by pressing "put down".
When you've found the right spot, pick a note next to the spot where you want to move the picked up note. Press-and-hold on that note. You should see some green buttons pop up, saying, "drop before", "drop after", or "drop inside". If you slide your finger to the "drop before" button, wait for it to light up, and only then let go, it will move the picked-up note to the spot before that note. Similar for "drop after". There's also a "drop inside" button, which will move the picked-up note to the first position inside the target note.
That's it, you've moved the note! You can hit the edit button on the red box if you want to change the text some more, or just "put down" to finish. Practice on the demo!
